Hello everyone!
Thanks to everyone that came to our meeting yesterday. We did a Halloween-themed project to help the kids at GNETS be safe while trick-or-treating this Friday. We also raised $1.98 for the Six Cents Initiative. We also elected Erin Martin as the Historian committee chair. She will be taking photos of our events, so please let her know if you don't want your picture taken. Finally, our GIVE Team representative, Devin, came to remind us about the benefits of registering with the GIVE Center. If you haven't done so, please register!
Our weekend service project will be Adopt-a-Highway on Saturday, November 1. We will be meeting at the porch of Terrell Hall at 9:45 AM to carpool to our stretch of 441. Our Kiwanis adviser, Stacey Fountain, will be there helping out as well, so it'll be a good opportunity to get to know more of our K-Family. We will be going to Waffle House after. If you'd like food, remember to bring money!
All next week we will be partnering with Cupid's Club with their bake sale to benefit Horse Dreams, a local youth ranch. They need help working the bake sale. Our secretary has sent the sign up sheet in an email. They also need help baking. More details are in the meeting recap email. Please contact Keri if you'd like to help bake.
Next weekend's service project will be attending Horse Dreams with Cupid's Club on November 8. We will meet in front of Terrell Hall at 9:30 AM.
The Fundraising Committee Meeting for the ELIMINATE Project Fundraiser scheduled for this spring will be Monday, November 3 at 8:00 PM in GIVE 130. Please RSVP to Blia Lor if you will be attending.
Trick-or-Treat boxes for UNICEF are due November 12 at our next meeting.
Dues were due October 29 so please turn those in as soon as possible if you have not done so already!
T-shirt designs were voted on at our last meeting. Our secretary is sending out the designs via email if you would like to vote but were not at the meeting. Voting closes November 1 at 5:00 PM.
Thanks everyone! See you next time!
