Hello again!
To all of our members, we hope you're enjoying being a part of Circle K. It is that time of year where we start asking for dues. Our dues this year will be $20 to cover our dues to our Circle K District Board as well as part of our international dues. These will be due October 21 to our Treasurer Jennie Pless, either at a Circle K meeting or by meeting any of the officers on campus. Cash is accepted and checks are payable to Circle K.
As for our upcoming service projects...
We will be doing Adopt-a-Highway tomorrow, October 4, along our mile stretch of GA 441. If you are interested in attending please email Keri Spetzer. We will be meeting at 9:45 at the Bobcat Head. We would suggest wearing old tennis shoes, an old t-shirt, and long pants. We will also be going to Waffle House for brunch afterwards, so bring money if you're interested in that as well.
Additionally on October 4, after Adopt-a-Highway and Waffle House, we will be painting a door for Habitat for Humanity. If you are interested in just this project, please contact Keri Spetzer about times.
On Thursday, October 9, Pride Alliance is hosting their Come Out Cookout at The Pit. We will be helping set up around 3 PM and clean up around 7 PM as well as tabling throughout the cookout. If you're interested in any of these, please let us know through email.
The Fall Monthly Retreat (FMR) will be held November 7-9. This is a great way to meet other Georgia Circle K members and make new friends! Thanks to Milledgeville Kiwanis, this event will only cost $30 for you to attend. If you're interested in attending, please email us!
Also please remember to send us any volunteer hours that you have done outside of Circle K in September by October 4 so that they can be included on the Club Monthly Report.
Have a great weekend, everyone!
